Lawn bowls competitor Ellen Falkner is hopeful that Team England can continue to improve in the women's fours event as the Commonwealth Games progresses.
The 35-year-old played a key role as her team maintained their unbeaten record in Glasgow with victory over Norfolk Island earlier today.
"I think that we have got off to a very steady start in this tournament and we have been consistent," Falkner said. "Hopefully that will be a platform that we can build on and get better as the tournament goes on and as the matches get tougher.
"Everyone in the squad is a very, very talented bowler and very experienced in their own right so we all play an important part in the team. We blend together and work together well and that is showing at the moment in our results here in Glasgow."
Falkner won gold in the 2010 Commonwealths in the women's pairs event.
