Ireland's Karen Dolphin out of karate qualification

Ireland's Karen Dolphin is out of the women's karate at the European Games in Baku.

Irish karateka Karen Dolphin is out of the women's kata after losing all three of her qualification matches.

Dolphin failed to score a single point throughout the three matches, losing 5-0 to Spain's Sandra Jaime Sanchez, Czech Republic's Veronika Miskova and France's Sandy Scordo.

Sanchez and Scordo qualified for the semi-final, along with Dilara Bozan of Turkey and Jasmin Bleul of Germany from Group B.

The medal matches will take place later today.
