Ashley McKenzie wins fifth British Open title in -60kg category

Ashley McKenzie claims his fifth British Open title by winning the -60kg final at Wembley.

Ashley McKenzie added a fifth British Open title to his list of achievements by winning the -60kg final at Wembley on Monday.

The 25-year-old, who won gold at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow last year, beat each of his four opponents with an ippon.

McKenzie's compatriot Kimberly Renicks claimed gold in the -48kg final, while Nekoda Davis defended her title successfully in the -57kg category.

Danny Williams, Samuel Hall, Andrew Burns, Owen Livesey, Gemma Howell and Amy Livesey all took top spot on the podium in their respective categories.
