England's Chris Paisley is one of three clubhouse leaders with an opening-round 67 at the Nordea Masters in Malmo.
Paisley, who has three professional wins under his belt, sank six birdies in a stellar first day in Sweden, with a bogey at the second his only blemish.
The 29-year-old is joined on five-under-par by local hopefuls Marcus Kinhult and Jens Dantorp, with the latter holing an eagle at 11.
Paisley's compatriot Lee Slattery is one of nine players one stroke back on four-under, along with Swedes Magnus Carlsson and Sebastian Soderberg.
Eleven players share a tie for third on three-under, with England contingent Simon Wakefield and Callum Shinkwin among them.
Defending champion Thongchai Jaidee, who won it on 16-under-par 12 months ago, is one-over after the first day.
