Nicolas Colsaerts has called his inclusion in the European Ryder Cup team a "fairy story" ahead of his first appearance in the competition.
The Belgian, who was confirmed as one of Jose Maria Olazabal's wildcard picks alongside Ian Poulter on Monday, admits that he never lost faith in his ability during his career.
"It's a bit of a fairy story, I know, but I'm just living proof that anybody can do it. If you want something badly it's only a matter of time if you put the work in and you still have the passion," said the 29-year-old.
"I never lost faith of one day maybe being in the position I'm in today."
Poulter has also spoken of his delight at being included in the European team.
