Great Britain & Ireland win the Walker Cup for the first time since 2003.

Great Britain & Ireland have won the Walker Cup for the first time since 2003, beating America 14-12.

The hosts went into the final day with a 7-5 lead against the Americans, with Northern Ireland's Paul Cutler winning both of his matches.

On the final day, GB&I won three out of four foursomes against their opponents, while the other match was halved.

In the singles, Tom Lewis, Andy Sullivan, Stiggy Hodgson, Alan Dunbar and James Kerr were all victorious, with Patrick Rodgers and Kelly Kraft winning their ties for the visitors.
