Tiger Woods says that he is looking forward to challenging Luke Donald and Rory McIlroy in 2012 ahead of the Abu Dhabi Championship.

Tiger Woods has claimed that he is looking forward to battling British duo Luke Donald and Rory McIlroy ahead of the new season.

The former world number one believes that he has fully recovered from the injuries that disrupted most of last year and is ready for a successful 2012.

Donald and McIlroy are first and second in the world rankings respectively after a year that impressed Woods.

"Rory and Luke are both very talented golfers and I admire what they have achieved in the last year," Woods said. "I look forward to having many great battles on a Sunday afternoon with these great players in 2012."

All three players will begin their season at the Abu Dhabi Championship at the end of January.
