Justin Rose identifies his consistency as the main reason behind his success in the World Golf Final.

Justin Rose has hailed his consistency as the main reason behind his triumph in the World Golf Final.

Rose beat Lee Westwood by one shot earlier today to pick up the inaugural title, having ousted some of the world's top players on the way to the final.

The 32-year-old believes that he has no weaknesses in his game at the moment and that this provided the basis for his latest success.

"My golf is just so consistent at the moment and the main thing is that I just don't have any skeletons in the closet, and I don't have that loose shot that is plaguing me all the time," he said.

"So all aspects of my game can pull through for me at different times and I feel as though I've got something every day to lean on."

Rose picked up a cheque for £935,000 for winning the event, which pitched eight of the world's best players in two groups of four before progressing to a knockout phase.
