Louis Oosthuizen holds a one-shot lead as the third round of the Maybank Malaysia Open is brought to a premature halt because of stormy conditions in Kuala Lumpur.

Louis Oosthuizen has taken a one-shot lead midway through a weather-interrupted third round of the Maybank Malaysia Open.

The South African had just made back-to-back birdies at the ninth and tenth before the hooter sounded because of stormy conditions in the area.

Stephen Gallagher, who has played one hole more, leads the chasing pack on 12-under-par in Kuala Lumpur.

Spaniard Rafael Cabrera-Bello, England's Danny Willett and American David Lipsky are a further two back.

Players who need to complete their third round will do so when play resumes at 7.45am local time before, weather permitting, completing the tournament on Sunday.
