Rory McIlroy has admitted that he is targeting a strong end to 2012 to top both the PGA and European Tour's Order of Merit rankings.
The world number one has already captured the PGA Tour title, but with several events to go on the European calendar, he has acknowledged that he will need to remain focused if he is to repeat Luke Donald's exploits from last year in topping both money lists in the same year.
McIlroy said: "I am leading the Race to Dubai at present and it is definitely my goal to finish there at the end of the season.
"It is very close at the top right now and I know that I need to have a strong end to the season in order to win both order of merit titles.
"A good performance in Singapore will certainly help my chances, so hopefully I can go a few better than my fourth place finish there in 2008."
McIlroy's next tournament is scheduled to be the Singapore Open next month.
