Tiger Woods's new caddie Joe LaCava has revealed that it was a "no-brainer" when he came to the decision to work alongside the former world number one.
Questions were raised over LaCava's choice to finish his partnership with Dustin Johnson last month. However, he admits that it was difficult to tell him about his departure.
When asked by reporters why he joined Woods, LaCava said: "Why? Because he's Tiger Woods. Enough said. It's a no-brainer, isn't it? That's my thought. It's Tiger Woods.
"When you say was it a hard decision, it was hard in the fact Dustin was great to me.
"Was it hard to tell him I was leaving to go to work for Tiger? Yes. Was it hard to go to work for Tiger? No."
The caddie will be alongside the American during the Frys.com Open.
