Brian Davis leads in South Carolina

England's Brian Davis leads after day one of the RBC Heritage at Hilton Head after shooting an opening-round score of 66.

Englishman Brian Davis has opened up a one-shot lead after the first round of the RBC Heritage at Hilton Head.

The world number 151 achieved eight birdies in recording an opening round of 66 to edge ahead of Kevin Streelman and Charley Hoffman.

Australian duo Jason Day and Marc Leishman, who both impressed at last week's Masters tournament, are two off the lead on four-under-par alongside Johnson Wagner.

Luke Donald got his tournament off to a solid start with a two-under-par round of 70, while Graeme McDowell is down in tied-58th after scoring 72.
