American Matt Curtis has a two-shot lead at the Valero Texas Open after play was suspended on day two due to bad weather.

Curtis carded a round of 67 to leave him on 10-under-par overall in San Antonio, while fellow countryman David Mathis ended on eight-under.

Players from the USA made up nine of the top 10 players on the leaderboard, with Cameron Tringale on seven-under.

However, overnight leader Matt Every (-7) and Hunter Haas (-5) were unable to play their second rounds due to the treacherous conditions.

The only non-American in the top 10 was South Korea's Charlie Wi who is tied for eighth on three-under.
