Wyndham Clark has taken control of the Players Championship by recording a second successive round of 65 on Friday.
The US Open champion starred alongside Xander Schauffele to lead after round one, but he managed to find an extra gear to establish a four-shot lead at the halfway stage.
Clark was only level-par for his round after seven holes, yet he sensationally found seven birdies on his closing 11 holes to move to 14-under-par.

Despite being four shots adrift, Schauffele will be satisfied with his round of 69, bouncing back from a double-bogey seven at the 11th hole with an eagle at 16.
Late on Friday, Nick Taylor was able to join Schauffele on 10-under-par with a 68, edging in front of a Matt Fitzpatrick and Maverick McNealy who are a shot further adrift.
World number one Scottie Scheffler is one of four players who are on eight-under, with the defending champion having required physio on his neck during his second round yet was still able to battle his way to a 69.
Open champion Brian Harman is in a share of 10th position, but Rory McIlroy dropped down to 15th courtesy of a 73 that featured four bogeys and a double bogey.
Some notable names have missed the cut at Sawgrass, including Justin Thomas, Jordan Spieth, Will Zalatoris, Justin Rose and former champion Webb Simpson.
