Lee Westwood believes that he can still win the Masters, despite heading into the final day five shots behind the leaders.

Lee Westwood insists that he still has a chance of claiming his first Major victory on Sunday at the Masters.

The former world number one will begin the final round five shots behind the leaders but he refused to rule out his chances of pulling on the green jacket on Sunday evening.

Westwood said: "If you can catch it up around anywhere, it's around this golf course.

"I just didn't make it up on the par-fives today, only parred all of them. It was a 73 that could have been a 70, but I still feel like I'm going to have a chance on Sunday."

Angel Cabrera and Brandt Snedeker share the lead at -7 heading into the final day.
