Paul Azinger labels Tiger Woods an "embarrassment"

Tiger Woods is branded an "embarrassment" by former Ryder Cup captain Paul Azinger following the Masters at Augusta.

Paul Azinger has claimed that Tiger Woods's behaviour during the Masters was an "embarrassment" to the game of golf.

Woods revealed his frustration on a number of occasions at Augusta including an incident where he kicked a club following a poor tee shot on the 16th hole on Friday.

Former Ryder Cup captain Azinger said: "Tiger's antics this week were an embarrassment to the game, to the membership at Augusta.

"I was really disappointed to see him carry on that way. He's not trying to endear himself to anybody... I thought he acted like the south-end half of a northbound mule.

"I can't compare my career to Tiger Woods's career, for sure, but I'll say this - in the 28 years I've played golf for a living I've never been as lost as he looked out there."

Woods finished the competition on five over par, 15 shots behind winner Bubba Watson.
