Victor Dubuisson refutes unsociable accusations

Victor Dubuisson dismisses suggestions that he will find it difficult to mix with his European teammates at the Ryder Cup.

Ryder Cup debutant Victor Dubuisson has insisted that he is not aloof.

Recent reports had claimed that the 24-year-old's traits would make it difficult for him to bond with his European teammates ahead of this weekend's tournament at Gleneagles.

However, the Frenchman believes that he is a popular member of the 12-man squad.

"Honestly, you can ask the other players. I'm a very funny and cool guy," he told reporters. "I'm not shy, it's just I prefer to be quiet and humble than the opposite."

Dubuisson's first big victory came last November at the Turkish Airlines Open, where he held off challenges from the likes of Tiger Woods, Ian Poulter and Justin Rose.
