England's Lee Westwood has hit a one-under third round at the Open Championship to move into a two-shot lead over Hunter Mahan.
Westwood bogeyed the third to get his day off to a disappointing start, but managed an eagle on the par five fifth to recover from the early blip.
A birdie followed on hole seven, before consecutive bogeys meant that he ended the front nine level and on -2.
On the back nine an excellent birdie putt on the 17th ensured that he finished the round under par, two shots ahead of his closest challengers Tiger Woods and Mahan, who are on -1.
