Felipe Massa has criticised Pirelli's decision to choose medium and hard tyres for next month's Brazilian Grand Prix at Interlagos.
Formula 1's tyre supplier was criticised for a conservative selection of rubber for last weekend's race in Sochi, but Massa is adamant that that selection for November's race in Sao Paulo doesn't take into account the changeable weather conditions at that time of year.
The Williams driver told Autosport: "I have no idea why they choose medium and hard, it's completely unacceptable.
"It's a track that you can have rain, it's a track that can be cold, but you have the hard tyre and it can be dangerous. I don't understand it.
"They change the asphalt [for this year], and normally whatever track I go to where they put down new asphalt, it gets even easier on the tyres. I have no idea why they choose these tyres."
Massa is currently ninth in the drivers' standings, 74 points behind teammate Valtteri Bottas.
