Sauber confirm Esteban Gutierrez for 2013

Esteban Gutierrez will race alongside Niko Hulkenberg for Sauber next season after they confirmed the Mexican as their second driver.

Sauber have revealed that Esteban Gutierrez will be their second driver for the 2013 campaign.

The 21-year-old has been test driving for the Swiss outfit this season and will form a new-look partnership alongside Nico Hulkenberg.

Neither of Sauber's current drivers will be with the team next year, with Kamui Kobayashi's contract expiring and Sergio Perez joining McLaren as a replacement for Lewis Hamilton.

Hulkenberg is leaving Force India this winter and will be the senior driver to new recruit Gutierrez in 2013.
