Lewis Hamilton does not believe that he and McLaren teammate Jenson Button will be able to challenge Sebastian Vettel at this weekend's Indian Grand Prix.

Lewis Hamilton has admitted that he and McLaren teammate Jenson Button will find it very difficult to compete with rivals Red Bull at the Indian Grand Prix.

The British pair were sixth and seventh fastest in Friday's second practice session - almost a second behind Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel.

"The Red Bulls are just too quick and the Ferrari is also very quick," said Hamilton. "I think we are quick enough to be third or fourth, but to beat the Red Bulls we need to change something, gain something with the downforce."

Vettel is currently on a three-race winning streak, while Hamilton's last victory came in Monza six weeks ago.
