Nico Rosberg disappointed by Monaco Grand Prix qualifying

Nico Rosberg admits that he has struggled in Monte Carlo this year after finishing Monaco Grand Prix qualifying in second place.

Nico Rosberg has admitted that he has not had a good weekend after finishing Monaco Grand Prix qualifying in second place.

Rosberg was unable to beat Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton on Saturday as the pair jostled for pole position in Monte Carlo.

The German currently sits 20 points behind leader Hamilton in the drivers' standings.

"I haven't had a good weekend so far - I lost touch before the end," Rosberg told reporters. "I knew Lewis was going quickly and it didn't work out - that's it. I could have improved - we changed the balance as I was suffering understeer, and I was confident it was going to come my way. But it didn't."

Rosberg has won the past two Monaco Grands Prix.
