Mercedes star Lewis Hamilton remains the man to beat at the Chinese Grand Prix after going fastest in Q2.
The 29-year-old Brit, who was also quickest in the first qualifying session, was just under half a second faster than Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel.
It seems almost inevitable that either Red Bull or Mercedes will claim pole, with Nico Rosberg and Daniel Ricciardo having finished Q2 third and fourth respectively.
Kimi Raikkonen and Jenson Button have failed to make Q3, after finishing 11th and 12th respectively.
