Lewis Hamilton has insisted that he can still win the Formula 1 championship after his victory at the Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday.
The Briton led from start to finish and held off the late challenge of Kimi Raikkonen to win his 19th career Grand Prix.
The result lifted Hamilton to fourth in the drivers' championship and even though he is still 47 points behind Fernando Alonso at the top of the standings, Hamilton has insisted that he can still challenge for the title.
"We still have a big gap and Fernando, the Red Bulls and the Lotuses are still quick. So we've got to keep working. We've still got to improve, but we've proved this week that there is still all to play for," he said.
"I'm very mindful that there is still a long way to go, but this just shows that the season isn't over yet."
Hamilton won his maiden world championship in 2008.
