Mark Webber recorded the second victory of his career at the British Grand Prix in Silverstone this afternoon.
The Red Bull driver looked to have been settling for second spot with Fernando Alonso, who started the race on pole, leading the pack.
However, with four laps remaining, Australian Webber passed Alonso on the Wellington Straight. Alonso had the chance to retake the lead at the next corner when Webber went wide, but the Spaniard was unable to make the most of his opportunity.
Webber then went on to extend his advantage to over two seconds before he crossed the line.
Further down the field world champion Sebastian Vettel claimed third, while Alonso's Ferrari teammate Felipe Massa came fourth.
British and McLaren duo Lewis Hamilton and Jenson Button ended eighth and tenth respectively.
