Jorge Jesus: 'Andre Villas-Boas will join Zenit St Petersburg'

Benfica boss Jorge Jesus claims that Andre Villas-Boas has agreed to take over at Zenit St Petersburg.

Andre Villas-Boas has agreed to join Zenit St Petersburg, according to Benfica boss Jorge Jesus.

The Portuguese coach has said that he spoke with his compatriot about the vacant managerial position in Russia and claimed that the former Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea boss will join them soon.

"What I know, and what I probably should not say as I do not know if it's definite is that yesterday (Friday) we talked for several minutes and he told me he was going to Zenit," said Jesus.

Villas-Boas was sacked as Spurs coach last year.
