Wolverhampton Wanderers sell Tongo Doumbia to Toulouse

Wolverhampton Wanderers sell midfielder Tongo Doumbia to Toulouse for an undisclosed fee.

Midfielder Tongo Doumbia has ended his spell with Wolverhampton Wanderers to sign for Toulouse.

The 25-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Valenciennes, has returned to France for an undisclosed fee.

Doumbia signed for Wolves in 2012 after they lost their Premier League status, but after he failed to prevent the club from suffering a second relegation in his debut season, he did not feature in new head coach Kenny Jackett's first-team plans.

The Mali international leaves Wolves having scored two goals in 35 appearances.
