Matt Jarvis hands in a transfer request at Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to reports.

Matt Jarvis has handed in a transfer request at Wolverhampton Wanderers, according to reports.

The winger has requested to leave Molineux so that he can force through a move to West Ham United, The Mirror claims.

It is believed that the Hammers have had a £9m rejected for the 26-year-old but they could be encouraged to return with another bid after Jarvis revealed his intention to remain in the Premier League following Wolves' relegation.

Jarvis scored eight goals in 37 appearances for Wolves last season as they finished bottom of the Premier League.
