Michael Jacobs completes permanent move to Wolverhampton Wanderers from Derby County

Wolverhampton Wanderers complete the permanent signing of Michael Jacobs from Derby County for an undisclosed fee.

Michael Jacobs has left Derby County to join Wolverhampton Wanderers for an undisclosed fee.

The 22-year-old, who had been on loan at Molineux since November, has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract with Wolves.

The League One side also have the option to extend the deal by a further 12 months.

"I feel like I've rekindled my love for football again which maybe I'd lost a little over the last six to eight months," Jacobs told the club website.

"Being given an opportunity here has helped me and I feel I'm playing with a lot more confidence."

Jacobs joined Derby from Northampton Town in the summer of 2012, signing a three-year contract at Pride Park and making 41 appearances in all competitions last season.
