Kenny Jackett wants Tomasz Kuszczak stay

Kenny Jackett is hoping that he can convince goalkeeper Tomasz Kuszczak to remain at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Kenny Jackett has revealed that he would like to keep Tomasz Kuszczak at the club.

The former Manchester United goalkeeper arrived at Molineux on a short-term deal back in November, but he is yet to make a senior appearance for the Championship outfit.

However, despite harbouring doubts about Kuszczak's desire to stay put, Jackett is keen to convince the Pole to remain in the Black Country.

"We've been pleased with Tomasz but there is a discussion to be had because I think he's quite keen to be viewed as a number one as well," the Express & Star quotes Jackett as saying.

"If there is a possibility of working it out, we do want to keep him. But his own options and where else he can go are considerations, because he hasn't actually played a game for us yet. I've been pleased with him and I like his ability, experience and attitude."

Kuszczak arrived in England with West Bromwich Albion in 2004, before having spells with Man United, Watford and Brighton & Hove Albion.
