Kenny Jackett has reiterated his faith in Wolverhampton Wanderers' young defence since the departure of Richard Stearman.
Stearman joined Fulham on the last day of the transfer window for a fee thought to be around £2.5m, leaving Jackett with an inexperienced Wolves defence.
"I feel that centre-back is a strong position for us," Jackett told Wolverhampton's official website. "Danny Batth just starting training now and we have Ethan Ebanks-Landell and Kortney Hause, and Dominic Iorfa who came through the ranks at centre-half.
"Two of the four guys are currently with the England Under-21s and it will be interesting to see whether they play in these two games after representing the Under-20s – we will be keen to watch their progression.
"Similarly Batth has quite rightly been the club captain and since he stepped into the side, Ebanks-Landell has been very good."
Jackett and Wolves will travel to Bolton Wanderers for their next league game on September 12.
