Wolverhampton Wanderers can finish in the top half of the Premier League next season, according to the club's record goalscorer Steve Bull.

Wolves secured a return to the top flight courtesy of Fulham's 1-1 draw with Brentford on Saturday, and the club are closing in on the Championship title as they currently boast a 12-point lead over second-placed Cardiff City.

Nuno Espirito Santo's side have won 29 of their 43 league matches during an impressive season, and Bull, who scored 306 times for Wolves between 1986 and 1999, has tipped his former club to impress during the 2018-19 campaign.

"I think top 10, easy. We played Manchester City in the Carabao Cup earlier in the season. We had four one-on-ones, we didn't put them away but we got a draw out of it and lost on penalties and I think if we can do that against Man City we can get up there," Bull told Sky Sports News.

Wolves spent three straight seasons in the Premier League between 2009 and 2012 before suffering back-to-back relegations to League One.
