The Football Association overturn Christophe Berra's red card, making him available for selection at the weekend.

Wolverhampton Wanderers defender Christophe Berra has won his appeal against the red card that he was issued during Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Watford.

The club confirmed yesterday that they were going to challenge the verdict that would have seen the Scottish international banned for three matches.

Having reviewed video footage submitted by Wolves, a Football Association panel has ruled that the 27-year-old did not deserve to be sent off.

As a result he will be available for Saturday's home fixture with Nottingham Forest.
