Wigan Athletic have reportedly rejected an undisclosed bid from Chelsea for forward Victor Moses.
Reports emerged last night claiming that the Champions League winners were planning a surprise swoop for the 21-year-old, lodging a bid thought to be in the region of £10m.
While the Blues have not been touted as potential contenders to sign the Nigeria international in recent months, reports have claimed that the London outfit have been keeping track of Moses throughout the season.
Chelsea's interest in the player is thought to have prompted new permanent manager Roberto Di Matteo to launch an offer, which was subsequently turned down, according to Sky Sports News.
While the Latics appear to be keen on holding on to their player, it has been suggested that Moses is willing to leave the DW Stadium.
