Report: West Ham United agree £5.5m deal for FC Sion's Edimilson Fernandes

Sion midfielder Edimilson Fernandes will undergo a medical at West Ham United after a deal of £5.5m was agreed for the player, according to reports.

West Ham United have agreed a £5.5m deal to sign attacking midfielder Edimilson Fernandes from Sion, according to reports.

The 20-year-old came through the youth system at the Swiss outfit and has since made 48 first-team appearances, scoring two goals.

According to Sky Sports News, Fernandes will undergo a medical on Wednesday ahead of a move to the London Stadium.

Hammers manager Slaven Bilic has already added Havard Nordtveit, Sofiane Feghouli and Gokhan Tore to his midfield ranks this summer.
