Max Gradel's move to West Ham United breaks down?

Saint-Etienne winger Max Gradel's move to West Ham United is reportedly in doubt.

West Ham United's proposed loan move for Saint-Etienne winger Max Gradel is reportedly in doubt.

The Ivory Coast international flew to London to hold talks with the Hammers on Thursday, but the negotiations proved fruitless, according to Sky Sports News.

Gradel has struggled to hold down a first-team place with the Ligue 1 outfit this season, making just nine appearances, and has been told that he can leave the club.

The midfielder joined St Etienne from Leeds United in 2011.
