Agent: 'Mauro Zarate considering Torino offer'

West Ham United striker Mauro Zarate's agent confirms that he would be interested in a move to Torino if he continues to be played out of position at Upton Park.

Mauro Zarate's agent has confirmed that the player is considering an offer from Torino and attracting interest from a number of other Italian clubs.

The Argentine moved to West Ham United in the summer, but is unhappy that he has been played out of position by Sam Allardyce.

Luis Ruzzi told Football Italia: "At West Ham he plays behind the strikers and that is not his position. He is a centre-forward and if there is a team willing to let him play in his natural role, then we'd be very happy to take their offer into consideration.

"Not just [Torino], as several other Italian clubs also enquired about him. Mauro is 27, so he's ready for the big step up. After all, we know his quality. It's a shame that, apart from his time at Velez, in recent years they make him play out of position."

Zarate scored on his Premier League debut for the Hammers, but has made just five appearances in all competitions this season.
