Alex Song has said that team spirit at West Ham United is high following their win over Manchester City in the Premier League this afternoon.
Morgan Amalfitano and Diafra Sakho both found the target for the home side in their 2-1 victory over the current champions at Upton Park.
"We are doing well at the moment and we wanted to continue that today. We started well against Liverpool and that was the plan again today. We played together, we worked together and we won together," BBC Sport quotes the on-loan midfielder as saying.
"When the new players arrived in the summer we were all given a very good welcome and you can see that on the training ground. The spirit is high and we are really enjoying it."
The result has moved West Ham up to fourth in the table, while Man City remain five points behind leaders Chelsea, who are yet to play this weekend.
