Reports suggest that West Ham United midfielder Mohamed Diame may only miss three weeks with a hamstring injury.

West Ham midfielder Mohamed Diame has revealed that his hamstring injury is not as bad as first feared, according to reports.

The 25-year-old was stretchered off during Sunday's 3-2 defeat to Liverpool and initial reports suggested that he could face up to 12 weeks on the sidelines.

However, Sky Sports News have now claimed that the midfielder is expecting to miss just three weeks of action.

Diame, who joined the club on a free transfer from Wigan Athletic in the summer, has become an integral part of Sam Allardyce's team this season.
