Slaven Bilic talks up the importance of winning his side's upcoming matches against Burnley, Hull City and Swansea City.

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has talked up the importance of his side winning their upcoming matches in the festive period.

The Hammers currently sit just one point clear of the relegation zone following a 2-2 draw at Liverpool this afternoon - a result which extended their winless run to five games.

Bilic was quick to turn his attention to Wednesday's match against Burnley, though, and with Hull City and Swansea City - the two teams directly below them in the table - following up after that, the West Ham boss is in no doubt as to how important his side's upcoming run could be.

"We have a couple of games we have to win that can get us into a more comfortable position," he told reporters.

"It's going to be a difficult couple of games and we have to show our quality. We're going to be ready for Burnley on Wednesday."

West Ham's next two fixtures come at the London Stadium, where they have won just one league game since August.
