West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic: 'We could miss out on Europa League spot'

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic warns his players that they could miss out on a Europa League place if they are complacent in their remaining four games.

West Ham United manager Slaven Bilic has warned that his team could miss out on qualifying for the Europa League if they show "complacency".

The Hammers are currently sixth in the Premier League table, three points behind fifth-placed Manchester United with four games left to play.

Bilic's side were contenders for a Champions League spot earlier in the season, but they have since drifted to eight points behind the top four.

"Four games to go, starting at West Brom tomorrow, and a great deal at stake for us," Bilic wrote in the London Evening Standard. "To be realistic, a top-four finish, although mathematically possible, will be very difficult.

"Of the other options still open to us, we could move up to fifth or go down a couple of places. It's up to us and no one is thinking that these last four games of the season will be anything but a real challenge.

"If we approach these last four games of the season with any complacency, then we will not finish with the points we need to qualify for the Europa League."

The Hammers are unbeaten in their last nine league games.
