West Bromwich Albion have announced that they have completed the signing of midfielder Yann M'Vila.
The Baggies have recently spent time in fifth position in the Championship standings, initially establishing an advantage over the chasing pack.
However, defeat to Southampton on Friday night, combined with wins for Coventry City, Norwich City and Hull City over the weekend, have left West Brom more vulnerable than they were last week.
Carlos Corberan had already been working to add another fresh face for his midfield in the form of M'Vila, a player who he has previously worked with at Olympiacos.
M'Vila has bene a free agent since departing the Greek giants last year on the back of making 140 appearances in all competitions since 2020.
We're delighted to announce the signing of Yann M'Vila on a short-term deal until the end of the season! ✍️

Welcome to the Albion, Yann! 🇫🇷
Nevertheless, he now returns to English football where he has previously represented Sunderland, featuring on 37 occasions in the Premier League during the 2015-16 campaign.
Speaking to the club's official website, Corberan said: "We've picked up an injury to Jayson Molumby and that left us without as many options as we would like in the middle.
"Yann is a really positive option to have. He arrives with plenty of experience and with plenty of desire and motivation to help us.
"We will need to be patient with him from a fitness point of view as he has been a free agent since the summer, but we know he has the determination to be ready for what will be an important few months."
Although the game with Plymouth Argyle on Tuesday night comes too soon for M'Vila to make his debut, he could be involved in the squad for the trip to Hull City on Saturday.
