West Bromwich Albion have reportedly closed in on the £5m signing of Cardiff City goalkeeper David Marshall.
The Baggies have been heavily linked with a move for the Scotland stopper, who made 38 appearances in the Championship for Cardiff last season.
According to The Telegraph, West Brom are expected to finalise a deal this coming week ahead of their home match against Premier League champions Chelsea a week tomorrow.
With Ben Foster out injured for another two months, Baggies boss Tony Pulis expects Marshall to provide competition to Boaz Myhill for the No.1 jersey.
West Brom have made five signings so far this summer, including a club-record move for Venezuelan striker Salomon Rondon earlier this week.
