Blackburn Rovers midfielder Keith Andrews has joined West Bromwich Albion on a deal until the end of the season.
The out-of-favour Irishman was deemed surplus to requirements by Rovers boss Steve Kean upon his return from Ipswich Town, with whom he spent the first half of the season on loan.
Roy Hodgson, who has revealed that he is a long-term admirer of the midfielder, swooped to secure his services on a free transfer.
The 31-year-old joined Rovers from MK Dons in 2008 and went onto make 76 appearances for the Lancashire-based side.
