Two goals from Tomas Rosicky allowed 10-man Arsenal to claim a 2-1 victory from their trip to West Bromwich Albion this afternoon.
Rosicky's first involvement in the match saw him save his side a goal when he headed Claudio Yacob's goalbound effort off the line with 13 minutes played.

Then, up the other end, the Czech Republic midfielder went on to break the deadlock when he sent a header into the net following a cross from the left by Gervinho in the 19th minute.
The same player was on the scoresheet again four minutes after the restart. Having been denied first of all by Ben Foster, Rosicky then collected the rebound and got the better of the West Brom goalkeeper the second time around.

However, the home team's response was positive and they found a route back into the match with 20 minutes left to play. Per Mertesacker was red carded for a foul on Shane Long inside the area and James Morrison sent the resultant penalty straight down the middle and into the net.
That prompted a late onslaught from the Baggies, but they were unable to make the most of their numerical advantage as the Gunners held out for all three points.
