Republic of Ireland international Steven Reid reportedly agrees a two-year contract extension with West Bromwich Albion.

Steven Reid will reportedly sign a new two-year deal with West Bromwich Albion over the coming days.

It was confirmed earlier this month that the Irish midfielder had held discussions with officials at the Hawthorns regarding fresh terms.

It now appears that those talks have proved to be successful, with a 24-month offer waiting to be signed by the 31-year-old, according to Sky Sports News.

Reid, who joined the Baggies from Blackburn Rovers in 2010, will be out of contract at the end of the season.

He is currently on the sidelines with a foot injury.
