West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis: 'Salomon Rondon will score goals'

West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis claims that it is only a matter of time before record signing Salomon Rondon starts scoring goals for the club.

West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis has backed record signing Salomon Rondon to score goals for the club.

The Venezuela international striker has failed to find the net in three appearances for the Baggies following his £12m move from Zenit St Petersburg.

Pulis believes that the 25-year-old needs time to settle in the Premier League before he starts hitting the target.

"Salomon needs a bit of time to settle in but he's a very intelligent centre-forward," the Welshman told BBC Sport. "He will score goals, I'm convinced about that."

Rondon has scored 13 goals in 41 appearances for Venezuela.
