Tommie Hoban: 'Exciting times ahead for Watford'

Watford defender Tommie Hoban admits that it is an exciting time to be a Hornets player.

Watford defender Tommie Hoban has admitted that it is currently an exciting time to be at the club.

The Hornets will play their first Premier League match in front of their home supporters for eight years on Saturday when they face West Bromwich Albion at Vicarage Road.

Hoban has said that the players want to build on their promotion from the Championship last season.

"It is crazy to think how far the club have come," he told the London Evening Standard.

"These are incredibly exciting times and we want to create something special here."

Watford drew 2-2 at Everton in their opening game of the season last Saturday.
