Quique Flores has claimed that Watford must retain focus in their bid to avoid relegation from the Premier League this season.
Watford have made a solid start to life back in the top tier of English football and currently sit 10th in the table with 22 points from 15 games.
However, Flores believes that it is crucial for his players to ensure complacency does not become an issue as they look to hit their first target of staying in the league.
"Sometimes it is all very clear at the start of the season, then after - when we are improving, are comfortable in the table with good feelings - sometimes the mentality of the players is to go very quickly on to other objectives," the Watford boss told reporters.
"So for me it is very important to keep the focus.
"For us, it is important to keep humble, to admit we are in a very good position in the table, but not change the objective because that would be dangerous."
Watford visit Sunderland at the Stadium of Light on Saturday afternoon.
