Report: Wales won't move Belgium showdown to Millennium Stadium

In-form Wales will reportedly not move their remaining home Euro 2016 qualifiers to the Millennium Stadium, despite increased interest in the national team.

The Football Association of Wales has reportedly decided that it will not move its three remaining home qualifiers for Euro 2016 to the Millennium Stadium.

Chris Coleman's side are in the running to reach a major tournament for the first time since 1958 as they lead Group B following Saturday's 3-0 win in Israel.

With the likes of Gareth Bale and Aaron Ramsey in the team, there is a heightened interest in the national side, but the FAW wants to sell out the 33,000-capacity Cardiff City Stadium instead of potentially making more money by moving matches to the Millennium Stadium, according to Wales Online.

Their next qualifier is a crucial one at home to their biggest rivals to win the group, Belgium, in June, but it will remain at Cardiff City's ground, according to the report.

Wales stopped playing matches at the 72,500-capacity Millennium Stadium in 2011 because of falling attendances.

Halfway through their campaign, Wales are top of the group and still unbeaten with 11 points from five games.
